Here's what the latest homeBuilder grant means for you
The grant
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced a funding grant worth $25,000 for those planning to build a new home. Applicants for HomeBuilder must meet the following criteria:
Are you eligible?
less than 125k
Singles must be earning 125k or less based on their 2018/19 tax income.
Above 18
You must be 18 or older and not a company or trust.
Up to 750k
You need to be building a new home with a value of less than 750k.
Until December 31
The cash boost will be offered for contracts entered into between June 4 and December 31, 2020.
